Kids Beach
Located along Kalanianaole Avenue not far from the Surfrider, Hawaii Beaches, and Lilikoi houses, this beach is known as the "kids' beach" because of the shallow swimming area, white sand beach, and protective barrier. Lifeguard on duty daily.
 

 
Onekahahaha Beach
 
Richardson's Beach
Directly in front of Hawaii Beaches and Surfrider houses, and 1 short block from the Lilikoi house, this beach is great for kids and adults alike. Great snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, and the site of many kayak and canoe launches. Lifeguard present during the days. Beach had showers, restrooms, and picnic area. Boogie Boards and some beach equipment provided for guests of the houses.

Richardson's Park & Beach
Directly in front of Hawaii Beaches and Surfrider houses, the park and beach are easily accessible from both homes. For guests staying at the Lilikoi house, this beach is one short block away. Beach Park has bathrooms, showers, and picnic areas. Coolers and beach equipment provided to guests of all three (3) beach houses.

Leleiwi Beach
Directly in front of the Lilikoi house, this large lagoon is lined with white sand to the ocean and is a wonderful place to swim and snorkel. Turtles seen often at this beach. Lifeguard present daily. Located just one short block from the Hawaii Beaches and Surfrider houses.

Dolphins & Whales

Whales can be seen from approximately early-December to mid-April. They are easy to spot in the open ocean fronted by the Palms and Mango houses, but also be seen in the Hilo Bay.

White Sands Beach
Located along Alii Drive, this beach is also fondly known to locals as "disappearing sands" when high surf covers the sandy beach. This happens only rarely, and this beach serves as a major Kona attraction.
